Claims Handler (Short Term): Bloemfontein

Remuneration:

The purpose of the job:

  • Responsible for coordinating and overseeing, managing, negotiation and settlement of the claim and is accountable for the finalization of the claim end-to-end

Requirements:

  • Gr 12 (Matric certificate)
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in short term insurance claims
  • Sound knowledge of claims processing, policy wording and interpreting assessor reports
  • Computer literacy – Microsoft office & must be able to do system processing (Tail & Roc)
  • Proficient in English and Afrikaans

Duties will include:

  • Processing of claims on system (Tail & Roc)
  • Handle all information reporting
  • Handle claims and deal with them efficiently and with minimum delay in accordance within mandates conferred
  • Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
  • Applying expertise and technology
  • Writing & reporting
  • Following instructions and procedures
  • Analyzing
